Melissa works as a Legal Assistant, primarily in Residential Real Estate.  Melissa joined Cooper Cargill Chant/Presidential Title Services in 2016, after moving her family back to the Mount Washington Valley from a 15-month stay in Wake Forest, North Carolina.  A Madison, NH native, Melissa began working for the Town of Madison in May of 1995, just prior to graduating high school.  She was employed by the Town for 20 years, having worked her way up to position of Town Administrator.  In North Carolina, Melissa held the position of assistant to the Director of the Wake County Northern Regional Center.  Melissa’s experience in municipal government administration is a benefit to the firm’s real estate department, especially relating to property transfers, land use, and municipal taxation matters.  Melissa lives in Madison with her husband, two teenagers, two dogs, leopard gecko and beta fish.  Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and large extended family, attending her kids school and sporting events, and relaxing with a good book and a dog on her lap.
